@thisguyhere17 Lol, thought the same thing; he actually assessed the situation and realized doing so would be a huge risk and didnt' chance it, then came up with an idea to try and circumvent any suspicions that might be upon him while getting his friend to believe what he saw was just an illusion(to save his life) AND get a bit of information about what was going on in that moment. No way the author is going to keep being able to give him that much intelligence.
