What if Ai is a robot and she is the center of the experiment and why even if she gets killed they can just make her a new body with the same memories. I mean her name is Ai which means love and AI which is Artificial Intelligence so their goal is giving Ai some Ai in a sense and when ever someone confess the feelings she receive trigger her death take the body and data mine the dead body for feelings.
