He's not wrong. Orcs are corrupted elven. Look at the "Lord of the Rings" series. Celebrimbor was tricked by Sauron (The Near-Primordial Spirit, and Lieutenant of Melkor, The First Dark Lord). Sauron taught them how to make Rings of Power. They are nothing to scoff at, like the One Ring, they all have their abilities.

But getting back on track, The Elven to Orc deal. Melkor took some elven, tortured them, mutilated them, pour darkness into them that they changed their shape.

If you think making Uruk-hai was bad, Melkor's methods are worse.
