Count is being weird now in multiple ways. If he's certain the Uncle is trying to kill him then why bother with evidence? He's the lord! Just exile the uncle from his lands or kill him (discretely of course). And it's also weird that he approached the MC supposedly because she's strong and level-headed but now wants her to do nothing even though she'll be a target either way. Also pretty low of him to bring the MC into such a dangerous situation without prior notice in the first place.
 
Dude can shove right off with that condescending bullshit over the embroidery. You met this woman as she was hunting boar.

@Phoenix_VII he needs a basis for dealing with the uncle, unfortunately, since he has no support. Basically he can count the number of people who want him as the count on one hand, everyone else is backing the uncle. He doesn't have the power base at this time to weather the shit storm that would follow "arbitrarily" executing his uncle.
 
I feel bad for FL and think this manga will be far from romantic for a while... Anyways thanks for the update~^^

I also agree with what Phoenix said. The overall plot and intentions of the ML is confusing hahahah
 
With the comments “[intuition] is a bad trait for a lady” and the “what the hell” about the embroidery I am royally pissed and in opposition to this ML. You met her while she was hunting a boar, you wanted someone who could think for themselves in dangerous situations, and now you chide her for the very quality you chose her for? Also, regardless who made it, embroidery is really hard work, besides it’s a fake marriage and you’re pissed she didn’t spend god knows how long on the dowry? Besides the dowry is hers, it’s her property regardless of who she marries. Take the attitude elsewhere, whiplash boy.
 
Yeah screw the duke. He's just about the worst, forcing someone into a position where they have to fear for their life and on top of it all making fun of them.

Wow this was an unpleasant turn??? I thought with the way they met it would be more of them working in tandem but that comment about the embroidery really threw me off. Like you already know she’s not some delicate flower and is keeping up certain appearances—so are you!! Are you comparing her to your previous wife, which is also shitty?? I get if he was like “try not to show your upper hand too much” with the intuition comment but he really seems to be weirdly pushing her away and demeaning her as if she were just some rando that got caught up in this?? As far as he’s concerned “she’s a guest that needs to be protected”—excuse me what?? Bitch you asked for her help! You’re the one who proposed! What’s with your attitude!
 
His wife and child died three months ago.....but he’s legit okay? Also, his hot and cold actions point to .... liking/being attracted to her. Weirdo
