The Daughter of the Albert House Wishes for Ruin - Vol. 3 Ch. 10.2 - ②

Oh wow. She is just to good and honest to be the "villain" and she becomes a the guiding force to nudge and push MC to the "best route" or the choices and events leading up to them.

This story just keeps getting better and better

@Allexio If you remember it as the same as other otome villainess stories, that's why you're confused. They're usually focused on survival, breaking flags, and capture dudes are romantic interests. As the name suggests, she's aiming for the route where her family is ruined, so she's encouraging flags for the happiest ending, trying (very badly) to be mean/evil, and her love interest is the servant and not the prince.

Is amazing how the story keeps moving forward the way it originally is supposed to while the "villianess" just acts when it's her time. Let her get a happy end too 😭

Little did she know there was a secret Mary route she triggered. (I mean wholly doubt it but seriously Heroine seems more interested in her than her Prince)

Oh? So this is a easy-going otome game then! How refreshing!
The last few otome games I played mostly had death bad endings (or MUCH worse) so this is nice.
I do appreachiate a good death end tho. Especially if you fancy your murderer (looking at you Amnesia Memories!).
Sometimes getting the consequences of your stupid descicions feels good. And sometimes you have trouble sleeping because of them...

Yes a name like doki doki love academy definitely implies a casual and easygoing game

nervously sweats as reminded of a certain visual novel

While I think bored Alicia running over to Mary is highly likely, I wonder if this is some "can the heroine overcome all this boring hoity toity nobility socialising BS and pro-actively engage with them rather than sit on the sidelines as she is right now" kind of event - like does Alicia understand what being with Patrick really means, and is she resolved for all the boring/shite parts that come with the good. So yeah, Alicia could well "fail" down to a just friends route and run to Mary out of boredom/anger at being ignored, but with all the "proper behaviour" Mary's "abuse" has taught her, she may well get up and join the group properly, or realise she's looking bored/sad/upset/whatever and switch to "politely waiting" mode or whatever she is "meant" to do in that situation. Maybe?

@R4nd0mus3r I bought that way after the hype died down in a cheapo humble bundle or something and still haven't got around to actually "playing" it - too many LNs and manga that I can't keep up with as it is, and games I'm behind on for the same reason (mega first world problems right here)

Man.. bad endings in this are so chill... Collar x Malice or amnesias bad endings tho...

Haha, other people cant help to grinning when seeing Marie & Addie talking to each other 😆

doki doki definitely not implies something tragic and sad

thanks for the chapters!
and happy new year to all! 🎇

@sqrt9 At the start otome games bad endings were as chill as here, it was only later otome games fashioned bad endings to be more tragic or even gruesome

I still don't get why Patrick's not head over heels with Mary. He's a boy with substance, Alicia's just cutesy, and Mary is the only one who can make him laugh hard.

(also in reference to Miss Not-so-Sidekick's Arwin)

"Not to mention, the title 'Doki Doki Love Academy' itself shows how easygoing and casual the game is"
hahahahahahahaHAHAHAHA

Ah, yes. A game like Doki Doki Literature Clu- Love Academy definitely will have no depressing developments at all!
