The Daughter of the Albert House Wishes for Ruin

I'm just so confused. Why does Addie know what video games and production teams are? I thought they were in some classical European setting. They're still using carriages, but porn magazines exist. Has this author just never heard of verisimilitude before? I get that this is the tone the author was going for, but it makes it incredibly hard to tell what parts of the story and dialogue are supposed to make sense, and which parts are just for comedy.

@Aretheus Though there are quite a few anachronisms in this universe, Addie only knows about video games because Mary told him. It's explicitly shown in the novel, but here it's presumed to have happened immediately before where the manga starts.

The author tends more to focus on the banter than the setting making any sort of sense.

@Aretheus it's not just a classical europe setting, its an otome game, so any problems in world building? 'IT'S A GAME LOL DOESN'T NEED TO BE ACCURATE'

At least that's how I see it lol

this manga setting might be in the pre-industrial age it might not wrong if train or steamship will pop up soon

Another for the "reincarnated as villainess route" pile.

So far I love basically all of them, even though they've all gone in wildly different directions...

Can someone give me an explanation why is she going for the ruin route, Besides that it is inevitable? I dont see her point or motive

@ryke08
Because "doing something different makes your story magically fresh, interesting, and knave-ish"
In reality, it doesn't.
