The Diary of a Middle-Aged Teacher's Carefree Life in Another World - Ch. 14 - Ossan power-leveling students in the Forest

Just from the first page, I saw that there were dialog differences from the two groups that did ch14. So I had to look at the raws to figure out what was more accurate.
My conclusion was KKJ scans had the better translation. Even looking at page 2 something as simple as "stronger" was translated as "faster" in Katanon's version.

I won't say to read one group over another, but for ch14 I'm personally going to read KKJ's.

tl making snide remarks about how hard it was for MC to survive a week of "grinding" in a video game...but wasn't MC referring to the time between when he arrived and when he found his way to civilization? cause I'm pretty sure he spent a week in the forest after he first got transmigrated to this new world

@Satsuo Faster seemed to fit better as he was just referring to the golem's speed in the previous speech bubble.

It took me quite some time to cross-check kanji. While I did use an app to scan what I don't know, this chapter would have been terrible if I actually used what came out of the machine translations. While I don't mind other groups continuing the series, Dinqee wants to claim I just used MTL and that isn't entirely true.

They posted their own version literally minutes after my own. There was no way for me to know KKJ Scans were picking this up as they didn't say a single thing prior. My TL was significantly better than the actual MTL by VoidScans. And had I known KKJ wanted to pick this up there would have been no need to translate this myself. Dinqee just wants to talk about how great their TL is while criticizing any other effort made by others.

@InsaneInsomniac Yep you are correct. I forgot since they did a time skip. He only faced some golblins, a rabbit, an ape, orc and wyvern. Besides the wyvern, everything else was much weaker than the worms, trolls and chimera. Also he did still get to level up to 1879 without any risk at all yet people under lv 50 or 100 still have to put their lives on the line against monsters 4-6x their own strength in a malnourished state. That's still unreasonable to give them the same conditions he had when he was god tier overpowered with basically cheat knowledge of the game as well.

@welcome2atlantis Yep, it does exist, and they did a movie on it some time back, can't remember just how far exactly. I will warn ya, it is more a kids book ( I read it back when I was a kid back in the late 70's, early 80's). Yes, I am an old fart.
