The Duchess' 50 Tea Recipes - Ch. 21

Of course they are discussing important matters out in the open and not in a private room.

Why is she like that? Couldn't she just tell the duke to fire them? After all they harassed her and doesn't that mean that they don't care if she's the Duke's wife. If they don't care that she's the wife of the Duke and they harass her that just means that they look down on the duke. Sure they wouldn't dare challenge the duke, but if they still harass his wife than his dignity would lower in my opinion. Is she stupid?

why did ppl hate cane? like. she did blame someone else for her own mistake(maybe it was colline). she totally deserve it.
you can't just blame anyone, old chloe is just a coward. i don't mean she don't deserve happiness but boi. don't blame someone else over your own mistake. just face it even if it hard live being honest to those around and yourself.

Cale seems like an interestingly flawed character.

Not evil or immoral, nor good and upright, certainly: But, crucially, remarkably irresponsible, contrary to the image he's cultivated—he was pretty much the sole person in a position to do something about vicious cycle between the Duchess and her maids, and he just sort of blew it off, it seems. As if there were somehow no way that could come around to cause trouble, like it's threatening to do right now...?

Like, even if we just want to say he's a callous meritocrat who only cares for the functioning of the house, he's fundamentally failed at that by just letting things fester.

Park is extremely kind tbh , if this was aria or someone else then all of these maids/butlers would've been dead

Why the heck has it taken this long for us to see her personal maid? Wouldn't she have been there all the time, and interacted with her the most?
