The Duchess' 50 Tea Recipes - Ch. 56

@LittleMiniMe it coincidentally checks out. On earth, people had already figured out the mass production of mineral water by 1781, twenty years before steam locomotives were even a thing . Add to the fact that story-wise they have well established trade to the Asias, evidenced by the relative ease of obtaining so many teas, their civilisation shouldn’t be too far off from a similar period themselves if their geography is similar to ours

It’s definitely the booze and being lucky enough to have happy-drunks as in-laws

Her in laws didn't like her because of her family background, why did tea cocktails fix it? Did she show off her superior knowledge of alcohol and connections to someone of higher standing? Did she say it was a gift from the duchess? If so her inlaws are shallow, kiss-asses if they think they're going to get more gifts through her.

Thank you for the chapter!

Nice, but the conclusion at the end was kind of rushed. Go through all this trouble and be like "hey they liked it lmao" and that's it.

Thus chapter is NOT a filler, the author just told you what to drink when reading the next chapter.

As you can see, tea is the solution for everything.
Husband doesn't care for you? Tea.
Everyone looking down on you? Tea.
In-laws don't like you? Tea.
Accidentally killed someone? You guessed it right, burry the corpse in your backyard and build your own tea garden on top of it. You can think about your dark little secret that will haunt you for the rest of your life while you enjoy your own selfmade tea.
