@Lynkaster kinda doubt it given they met as kids and he was cursed as a kid. Though I wouldn't be surprised if 1: she's a witch herself. 2. Her mother was the witch that cursed him.

@phil777 the dude is a noble. Butchers and morgue workers were literally like the lowest class of people. He's able to sell his scores that he makes, so that makes more money than than a very low class job like that. (Not saying that butchers and morgue workers today are low class jobs, but before modern times that was the case).
