I think Lynette has resistance to magic and/or has magical talents too, since she was "finally" affected by the prince's "curse" in the last chp pg26-28, that the prince subconsciously rejected her with his magical aura thingy after she unintentionally triggered his memory of that rapist witch, which could mean that she's not really exactly able to nullify magic, maybe she has an affinity for magic nullifying path but she's probably not fully magic-proof or antimagic currently IMO.
 
@Mai_loves_icecream oof I didn't mean it like that, either way, while I try to find some, why don't you help he find manga where a prince hops on top of a carriage to save a princess, I'd love to read that too
 
It's my faint hope that Lynette can reach a non-romantic understanding with the prince and have the both of them be comrades-in-arms style buddies after this instead of lovers.
 
Female character jumping on top of a vehicle to save people totally reminds me of the super BADASS moment by Ran from Detective Conan Check it out from pg15 to pg17, my wig was snatched (metaphorically meaning very impressed and amazed if anyone doesn't get this joke) so hard that I still remember it to this day especially that scene in anime version, and it's not even set in a fantasy magical world with superhuman abilities existing.
 
@Eclat123 eh idk i feel like you're being a bit unfair to her. she's still a young person too. also, the prince opening up about his trauma, that's a sensitive issue and i'm not surprised that MC wasn't as careful with her thoughts and words since it's very likely the first time she has come across such a story/situation. also, she's an escort not a therapist. you can't expect her, a person who is still rather naive, to act wholly professional and rational when being presented such a heavy story. it shocked her. she panicked and made a blunder. now she's reflecting (and rescuing him!).

I think it was implied that the prince's power started working on her the moment he recognized her as a woman, and that she ran out of the room covering her mouth because his power had made her feel ill.

Honestly, I thought she was being pretty professional, keeping a distance and respectfully asking the prince to treat her professionally too.

@nobodygattaknow well if you didnt mean it like that then I'm sure I dont need to pursue this any further. And you must be joking. There are too many harem anime where the author uses the trope of rescuing the girl to make the girl fall in love with the mc. I can't possibly list them all.

I think that Lynnette must have magic of her own, and that makes her more resistant to it. Elfriede never seemed effected by it, for example, and simple anti-magic doesn’t explain her super-eyes.
 
When position of damsel in stress and prince change. LoL. Its cool. Even in some other story that MC depicted as strong girl, they always come as someone to saved by ML.
