For mature viewers, you need to get used to the style, but it's cool. Definitely something different, in a good way.

I've read this two times now, maybe three,and years apart. I'm still not sure what it means. But I like, and I'm not sure why. I'm part, because a lot of conventions of modern manga showing flashbacks aren't used in this. It has a different unspoken language from more recent manga.
 
Really, really liked this series! I enjoyed the storytelling although the story wasn't fleshed out fully which is a pity and made it feel a little rushed at the end.
