wtf this development start from outta nowhere. the frane or smtg started became posses even before she ate the food and the frick this restaurant in the friggin town outta nowhere just hypnotised their customer without alerting the securities. i just don what helpp?

Well it's likely she was weak minded after the mana transfer and easily manipulated because of it.
The guy clearly is some kind of memory demon or something that feeds on emotions.
But so far we don't know enough about the setting to know if this is unusual or not.
