The Flower That Was Bloomed by a Cloud - Ch. 35

A part of me wants them to be together and another part of me doesn't. I'm so torn.

Ugly bitch boy shut upppp oh my gooood, and what is going on with my FL why was she blushing?! Do you have a fever? Better be a fever! Dowun's whole character is so edgy and cringe. Worst boy! If I smell even a whiff more of them ending up together, I will bonk myself on the head until I forget I read this comic at all.
Anyways thank you for the chapter!

Dowun is making the fl & us in a huge dilema.
I think everyone's question is, will Dowun throw our fl away once he achieved what he aims for. I think the fl probably has the same doubt. He will betray me eventually.
I am just one of his pawn.
Even though she's now the ruler, no doubt dowun has power as well that can bring her down.

As a drama, this is very interesting. And that driving force for interest is Dowun. It's really fun to try and figure him out whilst wanting to punch him like a complicated jigsaw puzzle. I always can't wait for what happens next!

Stupid maid with stupid advice. Dowun is obviously waiting for a small misstep like this to frame Baek Han smh.

Hong Lyon still likes the robot, yay.

@Michellewaters16 I bet Dowun has some childhood trauma involving his mom. She's not been in the picture thus far and he seems to have a decent relationship with his father. Maybe his mother abandoned his family or something along those lines. It'd explain why he seems afraid of getting attached to anyone.

can't tell if dowun is the biggest kuudere ever or outright cold and uncaring. i don't know how to feel

.. She was softening up to him again LOL but good thing he's smacking his thoughts about her back in her face.
Many thanks

bruh Dowun seems keen on doing things to make her hate him every time she soften ups

I can't tell if Douwon is being emotionally abusive or just inept.

Which is how a lot of emotional abusers snare their victims, come to think of it.

Unironically, what a great character.

Called it in the last chapter. Knew he'd gotten a message about Hong Lyon and Baek Han visiting the grave. Every gesture from Dowun is premeditated.

Ehm, why does everyone call Dowun worst boy? Through his efforts Hong Lyon's mother was raised to the rank of at least the lowest concubine so she's not just a slave anymore. Also he graciously informed her of this after-the-fact to spare her from disappointment. He's always thoughtful of her from the beginning!
Only he keeps his emotions towards her at arm's length, most probably to spare himself (and her) from having their decisions clouded by their feelings.

I see Dowun cares for Lyon in his own way, but... he did this when she was starting to get close with another man ROFL yo, where is that attitude in the past...? feels threatened already with Baek Han? this is funny as Dowun also the one who makes her life hard... he is the one who make Lyon the empress-in-name only and that is spreading within his own clan, he can't even treat her as equals, he smacks and lifting her up again and again, yikes, what an emotional abuser. How can a girl be happy with this kind of man? feel bad for the girl to stuck with this moron.

@itsamihan Except Dowun would have had to call every political person in for an overnight meeting to push that through or be outright lying about her mom's status change. Either could easily get discovered which would lead to his demise.

@Papperless I'm glad people are being sensitive to red flags but this isn't emotional abuse. He's not feigning warmth to draw her in and he's not tearing down her confidence, either. He speaks harshly to her to point out her weaknesses/mistakes so that she can fix them but doesn't pretend there are weaknesses there just to tear her down. Honestly, she's deserved most of his warnings even if Dowun's harshness was overboard. Dowun is what he has always been: cold, calculating, and her support. He can only be as powerful as she is, but she's making illogical decisions involving Baek Han and is, literally, flirting with their disaster.

Also, Dowun doesn't appear to want Lyon known as a Empress-in-name-only. He was very emotional (at least for him) in his rebuke of his subordinate when she kept running on about it. I still say that he feels threatened by the idea that Lyon might have a potential replacement for him as her support. Before she was sent away, they were equals in doing the work together. Twice now, his father has asked why he's keeping Lyon separated and not sharing the work with her. Something changed during that whole fight between them. I still think it's that she covertly threatened his position when she said she tried to get a step ahead of him. Whether she meant it that way or not, it could have been taken as: "I'm looking to eliminate you from my life." Hence he felt a need to do as much as possible to make himself indispensable.
