he had to cope somehow, but being alcoholic imo was the wrong way to go at it, but at least the guy didn't become comatose from the shenanigans mc went up to, like.. self immolation after basically notifying the entire festival babbling inane gibberish ... really?

it really does make it painful to see him regress from upstanding family man that basically tried his best to correct his son, it was inspiring of him every time he straightened mc when he made her mother cry.
