The Friendly Winter

This has a lot going for it. The main drawback is that it edges into that sort of Korean-melodrama level of angst and gratuitous plot complications at times. But it doesn't get overwhelmed by that, and there's some great stuff--the MC is a great character, tough and snarky but fundamentally a good lass, the big dumb boy is totally sweet and you root for him like crazy, in fact the characterization is generally very good if sometimes infuriating. It hits some interesting social stuff on the way, makes you think a bit. The feelings are big, resolution is satisfying--it's a ride that'll stick in your mind.

This is still one of my favorites.

Due to hypothalamus damage, and damage to part of my endocrine system I didn't begin puberty until after I turned seventeen, and didn't reach my full height until I was in my twenties. Stories like this (even when fictitious) remind me that I could have been stuck in a child body even longer.

This was great, I recommend it for sure! The art is great, the story is great, and the two leads are so precious I just want to protect them. Although sometimes it gets a little too dramatic but I love it lol.
