why do they understand each other so easily? like he literally just pointed at the water and somewhat instantly, she managed to understand he wanted to take a bath?
@Joelasdasd context perhaps? If he is visibly dirty and the woman has cultural background to bathe it isnt much of a stretch. The only other thing he could have meant is finding drinkable water, but he already had that before.
Oh shit I thought miss ship was a unique, I guess she's like a massive AI network.
@Joelasdasd
Well it's not hard. Have you ever tried to communicate with people of another language or even with someone who is poor at communicating? If two people are in the same situation, they both will have a similar train of thought.
I figured even if the odds had been worse the "ship" would've survived, but I also thought they'd leave the matter dangling over us for a bit longer. I suppose they can still drag out the reunion for a while since we hit this part earlier than expected.
Does this even count as Isekai? He didn't die, get reincarnated, or get otherwise summoned or magically transferred to a new world. He was a space traveler that crash landed on a planet. Star Trek doesn't become an Isekai just because the crew discovers a new planet. Sci-fi, yes. Fantasy, yes. Isekai, no.
@seekermoc
Sure, whatever you say, oh isekai expert. I am sure a council of Crappy or Average Chinese Manhua requires your expert definition on various fictional genres. Now go, go and be free.
@seekermoc The term "Isekai" just means "Another world". It counts as an isekai if the protagonist ends up in a new world from his perspective. He doesn't have to get summoned or reincarnated. In this case he is on an unfamiliar planet and from his perspective this is another world.
Fine. Fine. No point abandoning this manga at this point. I'm satisfied with the way the author didn't use some sort of Universal Translator that worked within minutes. It will probably work much faster once linked to that ship up there though...
PS. @seekermoc Actually StarTrek have at least 1 Isekai episode; a whole movie in fact. I'll leave it to you to figure it out.
aside from drinking, which they have done already other than eating- what else would he be pointing at? doing a double suicide drowning? We only have a panel worth to show the gesture, it's not that hard to single down the most likely meaning nor clear it up if misunderstood.
