@Goldenzeal You may be surprised at how often men are referred to as beauties in manhua, I guess. Most often in the context of "Goddamn, that's a man? What a waste." Either way, while the word is certainly slanted towards use on women it's not absolutely restricted to them either (possibly a point of contention among the word nerds). Besides all that, drunky here is probably being slow on noticing the male attire, and there's a high chance of that being the joke next time rather than him actually doubling down and being like "Why are you dressing like a man?"

this MC pretends to be a guy nonsense is seriously starting to grow tiresome... do the author have a serious thing for that stuff or something? earlier it served the purpose of hiding her real identity as she was biding her time for the right moment to strike, but now it serves no purpose story wise, it's even detrimental at times, like in last chapter, only reason i can think off to stick to it is because of some kink the author have.

@theldras actually it's more common than you think in the old days. More for protection as a lady travelling alone is dangerous and attracts attention. Its very believable women from ancient times tend to wear male clothes when out. Given young misses don't even get to leave house at all depending on the times.
