I would feel bad for the Prince if he wasn't so easily tricked by the fake that took the Mc's social status and life.

@Miyuki I don’t think they have explained it well but the girl was with the mc since they were children so she knows enough to be a convincing fake but even then the prince has a lot of doubts but nothing conclusive enough to be sure.

@SunderMind Who are we to judge his style choices when pretty much in private? He's got that whole dimension to himself most of the time, and the only person likely to show up has already seen him stark naked. A little cheek sneak peek won't kill her.

At last after that rough start the story really starting to improve

@SunderMInd That outfit is a traditional outfit for babies. of course china still relies on shitting in public for babies rather then diapers. ie on the side of a road and ive seen people use trash cans by holding the baby over it. So the one sidedness of the outfit is for those reasons...

@Gotim18 This type of stuff bothers me too, there is no reason she cant say "the girl with you is my friend from when i was little and she tried to kill me and then took my place and will try to kill me again if she knows im alive". though i suspect she would be scared to say anything right now, but the story doesnt seem to try to explain that. But such things are typical for these stories.
