I know, but he hasn't been training/practicing for about 2-3 years as far as the timeline is concerned. I said I wanted him to pick back up boxing, so that he'd sharpen up and get to a point where he'd be able to floor amateurs and untrained fighters with relative ease.

It'll also significantly help him when he's up against trained fighters who know and regularly practice a martial art.
 
@matcap No one would ever punch like that in reality. No way would that make a punch stronger. And it's stupid, the strength of the punch is not going to matter that much if he just hits the guy in the right spot. Ring his bell with a hit to the chin and rattle his brain, or throat-punch to make it hard to breath. Fight done.

I once saw a 7-year-old topple a 15-year-old with an accidental hit to the solar plexus.

And alternatively, this is Korea, where's the martial arts, like Taekwondo or Hapkido, that let someone use their legs (much stronger) or grappling/throws (for larger opponents)?
 
damn this shit gets better each chapter, really like how they emphasize the character's eyes when fighting :)
btw hamin best girl sungah is meh.... though she is the basis for this entire story so i bet authors gonna ship them :<
 
It'd be nice if he could be friends with Sungah. I don't think they'd make a good couple, though.

But seriously, with how he is able to predict and see the attacks coming, he should be able to aim for direct counters.

ah Joowoo REDEMPTION LADIES AND GENTS!!! FINALLY!! I've been waiting, some serious development was had however I'm not going to gloss over the most interesting part in the entire series, not once, not even once, did sunigah think of joowoo as a friend, she thought of him as hell probably lower than an acquaintance and no once did she ever have a positive thought about him, yet I'm supposed to root for her ? if this forced arc didn't happen, would she have any impact at all ? she is below all the other main female characters, she is literally a plot device for Joowoo to grow and I hope she remains a plot device cause she and leia DO NOT, deserve any romantic relationship with the MC, they are simply plot devices for him to grow as a person and neither are interesting or deserve the time or day and please her fucking tearing up every second is fucking annoying, "oh booo hooo, my best friend I depended on isn't her to protect me and everyone is mean to me!" BITCH joowoo was there and you didn't even give one half of a damn, fuck you, fuck leia and I hope Hamin wins or hell YURI! they are both the most supportive and deserve that shoot, not the thots like leia and sunigah. /rant

MC can forgive Lila and not Taeyang (right away) because Lila and him were basically strangers, there was no relationship between them. Taeyang not only didn't believe in his friend, he betrayed and tortured him. That one cuts deeper and will take more time.
