I'm gonna regret this, but I am actually curious why people are now calling the MC a beta/simp. Like in the beginning of the story I can see the argument being made, mostly because the character we start with was designed to be a mentally broken person who is desperately seeking attachment through a chatting app, but now... yah that doesn't make any sense.

Not to mention he's a creep in his own right, deciding to involve himself in the matters of said girl without her permission or knowing. Besides, being mentally broken/unhinged doesn't change the fact you're a simp, like how a clinically-insane murderer is still a murderer.

So like I don't disagree with you up to a point. In the beginning, like I said in my initial comment, an argument can be made that he is a Simp. I mean you just made the point yourself. However, if you are caught up on all the chapters available, the idea that he is still a Simp, in my opinion, is completely wrong.

Not only has he started a relationship with best girl, but we just saw him have an important moment with another one of his female friends where they both accept the fact that they won't be together because he has made the choice that he wants to be Hamin. Although, they will stay close friends due to them valuing each other even after the girl becomes heart broken that they can't be in a more significant relationship.
We also cannot forget, he accepted the reality of him being a "Simp" by telling Sungah in public that he was the Ran Chat guy, even to the extent that he knew she would not only forsake him, but also be horribly disgusted by him. This was made apparent when she first accidentally found out his secret. This moment was purposefully done, so when MC told her himself, we the audience & he knew without any shadow of a doubt what her reaction would be, a reaction of utter contempt. Even knowing all that, he still told her, and accepted the consequences that followed it.

With all that being said, I don't think your wrong, but I don't think your right either. That is why I said it doesn't make sense, it only makes sense to call him a simp if you read maybe half the chapters available and gave up, if so ok, you're right, but you're also wrong. Character development is crazy like that lol.

I just can't anymore. I thought I would stick around but the Mc is juat too much. He is such a bore and character development is so slow. Its like 2 steps forward 1 step back. The mc is the most annoying in the series. Earlier I thought he was cool but as the series grows he is really annoying. He is always brawls over brain. He can't help anyone and he can't even help himself. I don't why this has such a high rating maybe something happen in latter chps but I am not going to waste my fucking time anymore. And btw the MC is a goddamn SIMP.
