The Goddess of Healing - Ch. 23 - Equal Wife

Wtf how did him saving her 'tarnish'her reputation... This family is so screwed. I'm glad MC saved her mum.

Thanks for the chapter.

Eugh. I'm gonna drop this if it doesn't move on from just fighting the sister and aunt endlessly. I want her to end them and do something more interesting.

@A1B2C3 this manha is basically: "talk shit, get rewarded". Even MC lies instead of telling the truth to get what she wants.

I love our OTP.. I can’t wait for them to not only work together but to be together as a couple.
Thank you so much!

@A1B2C3 it probably has to do with the fact that the aunt was physically entangled with the father. they're also siblings-in-law, the aunt a widow, so even if the father had pure intentions it would still be seen as improper. whether it would be expected for the aunt to die for this, that's probably exaggeration on the aunt & daughter's end as a way to gain pity.

@TheJobbernowl
eventually they take a back seat sort of, even going into the chapters in the 80s. they're still scheming but Su no longer lives with them so they are somewhat in the background for now with more developments elsewhere: soon after this chapter, the mother and daughter pair will try to assassinate the MC on her travels, where she happens to find General Lin as well and he soon discovers she is in fact the divine doctor's apprentice. They make a deal where he helps her deal with her toxic family drama and she will help him with his 'sick' father. Shortly after that she handles things so that she and her mom can leave the household, the mom either divorces or amicably separates with the dad; either way she leaves on HER terms, and meanwhile this does not work out so well for the evil sister as she thought it would. The MC, now moved out, opens up her own medicinal clinic and she is removed from the Su family registry. General Lin helps her with her business and also just likes to find excuses to hang out with her since he likes her. There'smore happening from there but the point is it isn't always the way things are in these early chapters.

1.

Also, what innocence, you're a "widowed" woman, who's a mother. Shitty old man, go drown!

For the question: I would only tell the person if it was important for them to know the truth. Also if they trusted me enough, that way they're hearing it from someone they trust rather than someone else.

It's a surprise, the villainesses actually has a brain and a back up. It could have been a two birds with one stone if mc didn't move. Had the mother jailed & the aunt enter the family for her "reputation " thingy. 😂

BULLSH*T.

I WANT TO CASTRATE THAT FATHER OF HERS AND MAKE HIM A EUNUCH.

This all started because he couldn't keep it in his pants and looked for another woman even though he's already got a wife.

The excessiveness of this story is abit.... Did they really need to tie up an old woman? What is she gonna do? Run?

4 depends on the particular truth. If it's something dead leave it in the grave if it's ongoing let them know

@summerk she's. getting better

@simplicity she killed the MC original TL seems she is getting off easy

clever backup plan they had, but super brazen.
I like reading these household Chinese dramas. I find it interesting how the women act. Any scrape and they pretend to be murdered and the men fall for it. They take advantage of the perceived weakness men have of them
