By the way, does that mean Mia is not gonna be present in the tournament and is replaced due to sickness? If that's the case, it's such a shame to miss a big opportunity that you really want to participate in due to not feeling well...

No one knows about Ray though (aside from her teacher maybe). And no one knows about metal spirits, so using him is out of question if she wants at least a modicum of quiet life

i think she could fights with undine on the front and ray supports from the shadow. ray fully capable to eat mana from the opponent, eat weapons or manipulate them, or even manipulate earth. water magic as disguise while ray do the job.

@Aznereth: The teacher couldn't feel Ray's presence even though he could see Undine.
And 'metal spirit' that falls under 'non-attribute spirit' is considered so powerful/impossible to summon that if it ever gets out she's definitely not going to get a peaceful day.
To quote her teacher "It's like summoning a whale out of a fountain"

I still feel like the Undine she summoned is actually a high ranking spirit, and Jeanie is just unreliable narrator who doesn't study so she never realize her Undine can do way more than just looking cute (and the only time we see her reading through the spell book, nobody is around to point it out to her)
