I personally think her attitude, while childish, is actually kinds fitting. I mean in her past life, she was pretty immature, regardless of age. Especially in a more modern society where adolescence is prolonged in a sense, it's not unusual for a person to grow older but not more mature. I'm glad this life is giving her a second chance to change and mature. Maturity isnt a sudden flip or switch that just happens after one event, it's something that develops and displays itself over time, and for Jeanne, it's just taking more time than some others. Compared to many other mangas where the character suddenly turns from a brat to a decent person, I think her actually being just as immature as in her past life is very fitting and an important part of the story. It's kinda unrealistic how other MCs who were immature in their past life suddenly became mature after reincarnation. Anyhow, I like her immaturity and I think it fits the story. I'm personally not annoyed by her selfish desires, I think they drive the narrative forward. Jeanne isn't perfect, which is why I think she's the perfect MC.

Also, why did the academy let 4 people leave with only 2 guards?

my guess is jeanie is gonna summon the ice spirit when she is in danger and her need to protect herself/get revenge will be what attracts the ice spirit (considering the description of beautiful and violent)

@sunnyyy rule of thumb is, is black hair rare? If answer is yes, that is the ML (if black hair isnt rare, its the one with silver hair). So far black hair seems to be rare, and person with black hair was the king, so 90% chance it is the prince.
