Meng Yao was found and promoted by Nie Minjue, but always wanted to return to his clan (Jin). Nie lets him go when Zewu-jun kindly supports that dream. Turns out, the clan leader Jin Guangshan (and Meng Yao's real father) never recognized him even with letter in hand because he has dozens of bastards from dozens of women and he's just an asshole in general. Nie comes looking for Meng Yao and juuuust happens to see his former disciple setting up a murder. (Stab stab)
