The Great Wish - Vol. 1 Ch. 6

I love how critical she is about herself! It’s very refreshing and nice to see this in a MC

@Audettey Critical of herself in a productive way and not belittling or blaming herself. Literally every MC of Shoujo manga think of themself as "not good enough" "I should try harder" or more accurately "I'm a piece of shit and I don't deserve to breathe in the vicinity of other people/the ML."

This one actually looks to get better but doesn't see herlself as "unworthy".

@sweet-potato Yes! It’s so annoying how dumb shoujo MCs can be, and I’m really intrigued by a character who can actually evaluate herself with a sense of reality for once. She understands she’s not worthless, but can improve herself.

This might be the start of how she abandons the “demi-god” superiority mentality! Really excited to see what’s next

I still don't like the dude, I can't just forget that he's plotting against her with her half brother even tho both men don't know sht about her. And overall he has a arrogant and trash attitude towards whats supposed to be the country's princess. Not because he told her that she lacks compared to the knights but because it seems like he doesn't show any bit of respect towards her.
How can you be like that towards someone you don't even know?
It's not like she did something bad by not wanting to be friends with her half brother I mean she was a kid when she got to know about he's existence is she supposed to like the kid off an affair her dad had? I mean of course in the end she didn't interact with him because of what her mom said but that doesn't erase the fact that the dad cheated on her mom.

So far sienna is the only likeable character.

I like how she’s re-evaluating her skills, but not in a way where she’s belittling herself. I can’t wait to see what happens next!! Thank you for the chapter!!❤️

Very good, this is necessary for get growth. Her fish tank is now so much larger than she realises

I don’t find the male character likable & I’m a lil’ salty the assumed love interest has better swordsmanship (as per usual w male-fem romance). Buuut I’m grateful his disrespect & irreverence has given her a chance to reflect & improve. I’m all for using him as a potential measuring stick & as a stepping stone. I’ll prob drop this if he remains “out of her league”/the indisputably Stronger one, though. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@ohkimch I agree. I'm getting tired of weakass female MC's.

Edit: Also to note, this is the first time I've seen a female MC not think themselves as worthless, when their skills are obviously good.

@ohkimch gd, I thought I was the only one salty when I saw that she lost to him, but glad to know I'm not the only one. Agree on everything you said. I hope she takes this experience to improve herself and her skills and that, later on, she win against him.

But yeah, if he still remains as the "stronger" one... -_- then idk... probably dropping this too.

im really confused on this series because i dont know if i like any of their personalities - im glad to see that she seems to be coming to awareness about her surroundings and her privilege, but until theres more characterization for ALL of the introduced characters im :/ the art is literally godly though

Sienna is so expressionless, but oh, well. Her surrouding is what makes her feel she's above them all, as a demigod, but once she realize it's just pretext, she is willing to improve herself.

I'm attracted to the art, but the story and the characters... not so much.

Mmmm don't like that browny dude no respecc wamen >:L

Sienna it's not that you don't have skills it just you don't have enough stats to wield/gain those skills. (Pls aurthor give her better blessing)
Damn browny having good stats being premium (rpg reference)
