I feel dread while reading this manga, which is kinda surprise me since there's no "horror" or "thriller" tag for this manga.
Well I guess it's not as much as dread but more of uncomfortable feeling.

I feel rather bad for the heroine.

I've never seen a male lead depicted quite like this before, a hero who's a light yandere which is well known by the rest of the characters.

This series has a lot of text in it, most of which is unnecessary. There is a lot of repetition and things are spelled out needlessly.

It's a decent read but would do a lot better if there was less explaining and more action. Male yanderes, to my knowledge, are still kind of rare in manga so there's that too.

It reads like horror. This manga is secretly an existential horror.

Think about it. The mc is a pebble at the mercy of the story where everything is pointing towards a future she doesnt want.

Its like you know something is coming but you can only watch as the mc helplessly struggles in front of something much bigger than them. Lovecraft would approve.

Not a fan of Greed's character

He just out of nowhere forces the mc into an engagement and puts on those creepy magic charms on the bracelet without telling her about them, and also forces ht ebracelet on her. He also got loads of her private info too, super creepy

I know he had a dodgy childhood, but this character is defintietly written in a way that makes him seem creepy

Is this just on an indefinite hiatus, cos the raws don't seem to have been updated since 2016?

premise makes perfect sense to me.
in shoujo princess manga, the princess's closest maid is usually the cutest character in the whole story.
the fact that she usually doesn't get much attention is the weird part.

I really wish this series continued. It was quite amusing. The fact the OP character isn't the main character makes it better. After 1001 OP MC isekai/fantasy series, it does get old, but if the MC isn't the OP character, things obviously change.

@rufioh It's on purpose. If he was perfect in every way, also in personality and character, this would have been a far more boring series.
