The Hero Who Returned Remains the Strongest in the Modern World - Vol. 1 Ch. 4.1 - Sacrifice Selection & Leveling

@Aichan Considering the talk of superpowers and supernatural beings, it might be possible that they could have longer lives. In that case, she might have siblings that are older by decades.

This series has been building up to this very moment and, personally, I think the payoff was worth it.

It doesn't flow. It implies that the ones who gave up are her older sister and her older sister's daughters. This implies that her older sister's daughters are already at the age where they fight. This could work if her older sister is at least 10 years older than her, which makes her older sister's daughters being at around 9 years old, when they start hunting spirits. A little young, but I can live with that.

See the problem here. Why would she say her nieces gave up when her nieces at that age should be only assisting her older sister at most instead of being relied on to handle the issue? Especially when her problem is with her relatives (aunts and cousins) who are competing with her to not become sacrifice.

If her sister is about 20 years older, then I suppose she can have nieces of around her age, but then again why would she walk over the fact that her cousins are trying to make her the sacrifice and not mention them at all?

@timesen
Yes, I did allow that in my original post.

I thought this manga would be a neverending misunderstandings manga. But now finally the fun begins 😁

Feels like the actual story is finally starting, looking forward to the next chapter!
