On a certain level I really like this MC’s outlook. He has already been given the power to be the strongest holy knight, but that isn’t what he wants. He isn’t just going with the flow and instead chasing his dream no matter how much more difficult it is to achieve. He could have fame, power, prestige, money, etc if he used the power granted to him, but he won’t because that’s not what he wants. I mean sure his reasons boil down to “chuuni”, but its still admirable (he’s at least better than MC’s that just do what others say or completely lack confidence). I wasn’t expecting to like this, but I do. Good comedy, a nice mc, and a road paved with hardships and insults in the horizon.

What is wrong with this world? Although there is holy knight and dark knight who both protects them, one is favored more while the other one is despise. Why? If anything, that just give the dark knight more reason to turn into the bad side, but even if that is not the case, I’m pretty sure they should be grateful for either of them for receiving their protection...

@SaitoHimea You got to think of it like this, the Light Knight is Captain America and the Dark Knight is the Punisher. The Punisher kills "evil", knows discipline and how to retrain himself so he doesn't become like them, yet most of the Marvel Universe is scared of him because of his methods. The same could be said of the Dark Knight of this world.

I actually think there is something admirable in MC beyond his chunni-ness in that he is willingly giving up the road to admiriation and glory in favor another path so someone else may take that position...
It's really quite noble.
