not even considering it could be under handed tactics of the old bastards who decided not to leave? like they intend to say something like: "oh yeah, he bravely faced a beast fog all by himself and now all that's left of him is this bloody paste" ...except they planned without accounting for the fact that he's an OP as f*** MC who got timewarped back but kept most of his skills (albeit without his future self's purely physical abilities that came from 20 years of training)

Not that I'm complaining abut there was really a need to kill the wolf?
It didn't just attacked like one would expect from a wild animal, it just stayed there looking at him and waiting untill it was attacked...

The wolf is part of a pack who will cause chaos for everyone living.

Monsters seem to be somewhat sentient in that world so maybe try and domesticate or make a pact with the wolf or something.
