Saw someone say in the comments of an earlier chapter that in the base work, Emperor and Paulina have a drunken one-night stand, she gets knocked up from it and exiled/exiles herself to keep it a secret protect Emp... it does apparently come around to them gettign together in the end though? I think the ONS was supposed to happen from the bath scene the last couple chapters have depicted though, so we may be straying from that supposed original plot if the user that mentioned that was telling the truth? I sure hope so... I like this series, but I didn't sign up for THAT kind of heavy stuff ;-;
