The point of the tank is to keep aggro on them (which she clearly didn't do) if they don't dps has to spend a considerable amount of time dodging
time that could instead be used to put out more damage. In the entire flashback they were up against one minotaur
by the time the second came out the first one was dead, granted they fought against them consecutively but that does not cover up the fact that she sucks at her job.

Yes, Life Burst sacrifices your own Outer Shell and converts it into power to attack with. One of our MC's skills allows him to take the damage of whoever he thinks of as a comrade as his own.

So when the MC was still in the hero party and thought of the hero as his comrade, every time the hero used Life Burst, the MC took the damage that the hero got on his Outer Shell as his own. In other words, the hero kicked out the one guy that allowed him to use Life Burst to it's fullest potential seeing Rude has 9,999 Outer Shell.

The hero also is a failure for not understanding is own skill, as someone called hero i don't think it would be impossible for him to get his skill appraised but he got too conceited because it's known to be the strongest skill a hero can have.

To be fair, it might have been because people around him always told him he was amazing or something that he became like that, in which case it's unfortunate. But because we don't know if that happened (yet), i'll be calling him a dick that got what he deserves
