Bro, the reaction is too much, but at the same it I can't say it's very unrealistic. I'm not super overweight or anything, but I think a lot of people who are bigger have this fear which is shown in this chapter where you loose a bit of weight and everyone treats you so differently. If that happened to me I might become very disillusioned with people.

She went from a comical ball of fat to model body. Even gained height. That's impressive.
Not a fan of the transformation. Leave some curves, or give her more muscular body. A bit tired of the same body type.
