Haha! Was so good seeing Ally so angry! And for Eve to be able to show a little of her true feelings towards her. And it was even better since the trash prince was the cause of all her anger. It’s so funny how the low life cheating pairs fall apart so fast once things get tough.

i'm not sure where to place Roy (bad or good guys?)
He's spying on Eve but also is witness to her taking a handkerchief and wiping her hands of the prince's germs, but also the Duke knows Roy's name?
 
Why are all the men wearing mascara and lipstick? Was it a fashion statement for male nobility to wear makeup?

Looks like she is using her relationship as bait to get them to fight each other privately, destroying their affair on her own terms without being publicly at fault. Best way to handle breaking up with a Prince by trying to get him to defeat himself.

There are a lot of trends that ended. Highheels were for men, to help riding on horses, for example. Machismo is a hell of a drug.... or I guess it'd be a meta-virus. I'm wondering if the use of makeup by males (one myself, so don't mistake my perspective here because of the term) is something is more about guys (thinking guys that didn't have jobs wearing suits specifically) calling "sour grapes" on its use since it would be expensive, time consuming, and not to mention a rarely used skill, and that mindset sort of bleeding up culturally into an ideal (no matter how faulty) of what a "man" is supposed to be. Sort of like having long hair, or why villains in fiction are often "preening." This could very well be wrong, but it is how I see it. It is stuff like this, that I'd be happy to never see or hear of posturing because of some machismo again. Machismo should only have use for humor to me, like doing stupid things such as eating incredibly hot peppers to show off.
 
I know they're not the same but it feels really weird to see Ibelin acting so emotional

He’s a good guy on the MC side. The fact that he accompanied the crappy prince at the exact moment he needed to (to watch the slap) means that he already agreed with Eve, and probably the “blown-out” about Eve and the duke is something pre-established to get the prince into the trap and make him do some bullshit.

In fact, one of the two destroyed his hand while the other saved it by sending him to a doctor and paying the expenses: it is not hard to imagine which of the two one wants to lend loyalty to
 
@Asbolus why break up right away when she can destroy the two snakes relationship and then break up with the prince? This is a classic 2 birds with one stone tactic.




Ps. They really have some very long necks sometime.
 
i dont really like this kind of plot, but i want to see all antagonist characters suffer
