The Lady's Spaceship - Ch. 4

I have to admit I didn't think she actually crashed there, I thought she had done the usual isekai whisk away. Talk about freaky seeing your own corpse too, but it is interesting in that the ML actually does get to see what she originally looked like.

Hmm, how did her mind go from one corpse to another corpse? Unless somehow the new body was preserved during the fall because of whatever caused the transfer.

Oh so that's her spaceship
But like is she in a different dimension or just a different world/planet??
Many thanks

In short, from what I have gathered from the hints this chapter gives, the federation or star alliance (or whatever they call themselves) just recently discovered a new material, namely those kind of crystals.

It is highly likely that the cause of the mind/soul transfer, and this world's talk about demons and such is directly related to this "new" material.

In all likelihood this planet has much higher amount of it (comparatively) than other colonies/inhabited systems.

We don't know their nature as of yet, whether they are metaphysical, magical things or if they can be explained via science, but we do know, for now, that they are capable of transformation, be it mental or physical.

Our main lead likely actually truly died, but her brain pattern was transferred into the girl's mind, rewriting and likely transforming the person's brain at a fundamental level.

Well, if the crystal material turns out to be true magic, then it likely was soul and mind transfer, but until then, I think we should assume her as more of a perfect copy of her previous self.

It's an interesting take on the genre. Even if the characters haven't really distinguished themselves yet, there's enough interesting things going on that I'm still interested to see what happens next.

If I were in her shoes, I'd be rolling my willpower vs alienation, because seeing yourself dead would be suuuper unnerving. She is a sergeant who was known for her bravery though, so I can see why she's taking things in stride.

Just for the fact alone that the MC is forced to look at her own corpse this series gets a + from me. It's the type of morbidity I would expect from an isekai that doesn't pull its punches.

Woah this is interesting. I didn't expect her old self to continue to be relevant to the plot

i did NOT expect that,,, okay but this is super interesting?? like with the fact that her old physical self is literally here and the fact that she could actually have the option of possibly going home

i read this before corona and after ..... before i was like ... wow he hides his indentity ,after i was like.... oh good boy he wears mask he won't make himself and others sick :D :D
