The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor - Vol. 1 Ch. 1

around 2,5 million euro for a game account, this only happens in a manhua lol

somebody doesn't know how to count, because that computer screen was missing a couple zeros

I think this was a pretty lazy translation error.
In Korean won, it's 3,090,000,000. People generally (lazily) say that it's 1000:1 to convert won to dollars.
So in (lazy) dollars that would be $3,090,000. They should have been consistent with using won or dollars.

At the current rate of exchange, 10-3-2019, it would be: $2,564,344.65. Lazy money conversions can cost half a million dollars...

That's not what you call ending a relationship. That's egging it to continue.

If you say that some game is the most successful in your generation, why can't you believe that a charavter you gave so much time to wouldn't sell?

I love how unrealistic these Korean novels/comics are when it comes to the economics of video games. $10,000 USD for an account is already pushing credulity.

I guess in eastern games, game companies allow their players to sell their accounts huh.

What kind of bullshit is this? Really dev??? U are allowing people put their account on auction? And u even participate in bidding?

I feel bad for the translators doing the proverbs (or complicated words for chpt 0).

Also, Complaint lodged against writing: I know most people are dumb—dumber than a half of what you think. But, most players are always curious how much their accounts sell. Apart from that argument, the author forgets poor students who are struggling are desperate. They know how to think and take shortcuts when they need be.

But, I will admit that if the product was a collector’s item, it would’ve increased in bid regardless.

On another note, I don’t see it as too much of a problem of selling accounts as a game dev. I might try to get a cut, but I think it’ll help push for more players and more dedicated players. A lot of games have some sort of rng, and some are willing to make that shortcut to experience other parts of the game.

Thats like 2.5 grand at best now, probably was worth less when this originally came out. The won currency has appreciated a lot in the the last decade
