The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor - Vol. 3 Ch. 2

I could maybe learn to tolerate this new "art" style, but i just cant get over the personality change of MC. His personality is complete opposite of what it was before.
Author should of just made a new manga instead of ruining this one

@Laiziras What are you saying? That is just like what Weed actually is. The guy is a stingy, mischievous, greedy and cruel person with a heart of gold when it counts. His inner monologues always lacked intensity and drama, now they are just like I imagined. I'm very excited to see Orc Karichwi and The first living sculptures. The best part of the novel is just beginning.

@Shinobu What?!? Why!?!
Check the stats, this still has 11,393 people following it.
It's not as big as it was, but it's been in an almost 2 years hiatus. Give it time, If the author doesn't take another 2 years vacation, it might pick up.

Now, on to the chapter.
I must admit, the new art style is growing on me, for the environments... I still prefer the old, realistic style for the characters tho.

Also, is it me or is the orc guarding the door strange?
This is him:

He looks calm, dignified and almost intelligent.
Especially compared to how the rest of his group appears:

@aFFi
I dunno man, the novel was big but we've got solo-leveling now.

Also the first artstyle change was something else, its been years and I still cannot get over it. Though these latest changes are definitely a step in the right direction.

The one thing I will always miss about the original art is the soft glowing outline around every character highlighting their affiliation with the player (hostile, non-hostile, friendly, PC, group)!

It's interesting to see that the orcs are depicted as green skins and not as they are in the novel, if I remember correctly, monsters with the head of a pig.

I wonder why they changed artist, the first one's Weed was really annoying with that weird habit of always closing one eye. The new one is kinda not like how I imagine weed either though.

Man, it's been a while, but author-nim really tried to fake us out with the village of exiles huh.

@breizh well it has been a while. Maybe the art style changed because the one drawing it changed their style to this one and cant go back to the old one and make it just as nice. Habits change over time.

omfg what a fkn garbage, i cant believe how excited i was when i saw this had an update, fk korea, garbage authors and trash tier art
COMPLETE GARBAGE

@aFFi he must be a captain, and he was asleep, woke he should be more Orc like.
@breizh I think they are green on the novel too, but I think they have pig's nose and not a human one like they were drawn here.
@Ptakers is all that hate only cause of the new art style ? Cause ya know it's following well the novel, some things got cut out, but not that much.

I'm actually starting to like this new art style, they are showing better how Weed is on the inside/outside. It's a little exagerated but till now it's ok, the Weed on the previous art looked too nice and righteous dude. And here we go with one of the best arcs ! Thanks for the translation dudes !

A few people have complained about Weed's personality... But I just re-read this chapter and I can't find anything bad about it??
Honestly, if we are going off of the novel, this chapter didn't show nearly how bad he can be XD
Plus, his cowardly antics when no one's watching, his money grubbing greediness, his ridiculous singing, all of that stuff is what makes him such a fun character!
I kind of like watching him think triumphantly that he just ripped someone off, but in actuality his customers still leave happily, none-the-wiser. Makes me think he's fairer than he gives himself credit for haha.

Honestly I am just tired of the art changing, its even worse binge reading because of how jarring it is.
