@hedgemoney while I do understand your complaint, I would hesitate to ascribe sexuality wholly to the body when something such as a 'soul' (which is essentially a metaphysical representation of the neural connections and activity that makes up a person's identity and consciousness) exists in universe, and would argue that it makes more sense for a soul to retain their original sexual orientation than to suddenly change who they're attracted to because of physiological reasons. Additionally, sexuality is not entirely genetic, but determined by multiple factors in a method that is not well understood. My main complaint with those gender bender yuri ones is that I feel like the author is using it as a scapegoat to say, "well, it's not technically gay because this person was previously a man," and also that they often ignore how jarring and potentially dysphoria inducing it would be to suddenly have the body of another sex.

Fortunately, AFAIK there are no gender bender elements to this story, so this is 100% approved gay goodness.

when I actually think about what Anne told Ilya aka she told her she was gona do a test flight and thats it but she ends up crashing into a building+kidnapping her wife+flying back to meet the king and her wifes father+ telling them they are gona get together and then going back home like nothing happened when all she was supposed to do was a small test flight makes that ending pretty hilarious

I understand now, the way this is written implies Anne is our Protagonist but the manga starts off from euphilias perspective which if you skimmed over the summary you could misunderstand like i did

One of the things that I really love about this story is that, while it is lighthearted and fun, the author takes things seriously too. People have quirky character traits, but when they explain their ideas, you can tell that serious thought was put into it.

It may seem like Anne-Sophia kidnapped Euphilia on a whim at first, but when they explain the plan to deal with the crisis, it makes sense. Anne is up front about her intentions, but the turn of events works even disregarding that.

You are so incredibly wrong that it's mind-boggling. While it's definitely not a choice, genetics plays a pretty small role in what your sexuality is going to be. You're born fully asexual and remain that way for a time. What you end up wanting to fuck is shaped by the experiences you have, both as a child and later on, even sometimes after you've already started fucking, in addition to physical factors such as hormones and the perception of how others treat one that aren't necessarily genetic or even congenital.

The thing that pisses me off about people like you is that you think you're helping, even as you spread ignorance. The psychology behind sexuality and gender identity is a far more complex thing than "people are born a certain way" because of fucking course human beings are a bit more complex than that. There's nothing that prevents a man in a man's body to accept and feel comfortable with their new identity as a woman when put in a woman's body, on account of the literal millions of psychosomatic variables that have now changed for them, and therefore nothing prevents them from seeing themselves as a gay woman from then on if they still find themselves turned on by tits off by dick.

Educate yourself.

I like the fact that the Duke basically only speaks up and agrees with the princess after he sees his daughter not backing away from her advances on page 27. Sure, he comes up with political reasons, too, but the fact that he doesn't bother until that point really makes it seem like he genuinely wants his daughter to be happy.

I'll be honest, I was worried they were going to sidestep the fact that Anne-Sophie is legitimately a lesbian, but it seems like they did indeed point it out directly, even if they didn't go as hard as the novel did. (She makes it 200% clear in the novel that she likes the ladies, in a romantic manner, no ifs ands or buts about it, and flat out admits she has the hots for Euphilia in those words.)
