For me it's no biggie as long as mc doesn't act like a retard after this scene, and the sibling will be informed in time so this kind of shit doesn't happen again in the future. 1 or 2 times getting cockblocked is okay, but if author starts to repeatedly using these sibling characters as MC's brake I'll be pissed.

Yes, I agree 100%. Sure, the princess coming in at the last second was annoying but that wouldn't happen if he just get on with it.

I will still follow this series for now but I don't really like that the MC don't care about other people besides those close to him. I imagined that being trained by heroes, he would have better morality?
