I assume that nobody had used this artery circle trick before, because nobody had figured it out.
Only with a necromancer, a mage, a priestess, and a crazy researcher apparently, was this pulled off. They were the strongest in their classes and had countless years to discuss and plan this out. It was too late for any of them to do it, but then a boy that was like a blank slate showed up, and they probably were cackling.
