Uh, I didn't quite get it at first but my guess is he uses the already acquired capability in magic, holy power, and necromancy separately and the meridian circle sole purpose is to combine all three type of energy without him exchanging the type of energy he want to use. Perhaps I could be wrong so I need to read another chapter of this manhwa to confirm it.
