@Ken4553 Let's be fair, Leslie is a Child. A child who's very clearly been abused and mistreated and Salvatores are pretty good people by nature. Humans are wired to care for and sympathize with children, a pitiful child like Leslie in particular. It's perfectly natural for them to sympathize with her.
