I'm disappointed there wasn't more action but this chapter was a great set up. Nice to see some earlier events explained as well.

To readers of the LN - Is Shin starting to give any thought to how cruel it would be to go home and leave Schnee alone again?

I don't see how it has anything to do with "cruelty".
"Shin" is a fake persona, an avatar in an imaginary world. The human being behind the mask can choose to go back to reality (and unplug) or stay in this delusional game. that's his choice and who cares what a bunch of curvy, sexy, exotic pixels think of it ?

or go full asimov and decide for yourself whether robots do dream of sheeps or not ...

That dude was surprisingly sneaky.

That was a very good moment between Schnee and Shin where he just offhandedly is like "Why are you panicking?" and she tells him he disappeared and he realizes exactly how traumatic that could be for her to have that suddenly happen.

Kinda hope something happens that reveal Shin because I get kinda tired of hiding power level stuff in manga sometimes.

no really, Didn't he say that he would find a way to get her back after learning that his friends who died have been reincarnated in this world too and that their relationship was more than just bf/gf? Lol, I really forgot if they were married, now that I think about it. So my mistake if he didn't marry her before she died

This was just a slip of the author. IIRC they differentiate between 'mind affecting' and 'mind altering' effects quite a bit.



The way the artists draws "determined look" and "serious face" is giving me goosebumps. Also Schnee being badass.

After leaving Yuzuha to Tiera and put her on standby, Schnee approached the Cardinal and showed herself. Then, a loud voice from Cardinal Greyl asked for her identity.

“Who’s there?”

“It’s been a long time, Cardinal Greyl.”

“!? T-That voice, perhaps you are Raizar-dono? Why are you here?”

Perplexity was mixed in with Cardinal Greyl’s voice.

The raw mentions "voice" in that bubble, so I think it's just poor phrasing in English.

Schnee looks just like normal except with beast ears instead of elf ears. Unless that's a mistake by the artist, I don't think someone who knows her personally would be unable to recognize her.
