You do know the very reason he nerfs himself is because people can literally tell he's high human tier without the limiter. The one time he released said limiter Wilhelm was wondering "WTF?!" It's not something you need a scanner to find out they just feel it unless he keeps it low.

@Thomaster Her eyes are fine. Look at her eyelids in relation to the pupil. Her left eyelid (as well as her eyebrow) is lowered, while her right eyelid is wide open.

The more I read this manga the more I think there are supposed to be a prequel to this manga that we need to read to even understand what the fuck is going in this manga.
The author just randomly drops big plot points or characters that he wants us to care without any reason to. For example the elf and the beastman NPC companion.

really? i find the plot quite easy to understand. it's essentially a dude stuck in a NG+ where the storyline goes on after he vanished

@Trov Yes... I read the chapter. I know what happens when he removes his limiter. My point was that he shouldn't care about people knowing how strong he is. He purposely wastes his time doing shit like this with people like the princess just because he's weak minded. A strong minded MC wouldn't give a shit about how other characters viewed him/her, since they couldn't hurt him/her any way. It just infuriates me how he goes out of his way to put up with bullshit like this because of such a stupid reason.

@Wolvenworks: It is not about the general plot because it is just a bullshit reason to start an Isekai, I am talking about the background, the world, the build-up, anything that supposed to be a set up for character or plot point for the reader to make any sense.
For example, why the heck should we care about Schneze or whatever she is? Their reunion supposed to be full of emotion, but actually, it fell flat because the author never bothered to set her up, make the reader care about her and Shin relationship, how it affected her when he supposed to disappear over 1000 of years
Same thing about the beastman as well. The author just randomly dropped his name, said he was one of Shin NPC and is dying. Then Shin just casually walk into his country, talk abit, pull out some random weapon, said a bunch of jargon then they fight in a most boring battle ever where it was a dick measuring contest about who has more stupid name for an attack. And then the beastman died.
