The New Gate - Vol. 7 Ch. 45

this part really did feel like it dragged on just as long as it did in the LN.

to be honest tho,i do feel this part is dragged out both in LN and manga.

So the bird has some sort of absorption ability. Possibly something that lets it adjust it's strength to the person(s) it's fighting? But he has immunity to it because of the liberator title?

. . . shouldn't he worry that he's had time to kill the frost chicken THIRTY friggin' TIMES since he split up with Lyonne? She has a chekhov's double-boost active but hasn't fought at all.

Also cool guys don't look at explosions.
MC confirmed uncool.

This is the worst arc of this manga. I don't know what the author is thinking, or if he is.

I feel like the LN handled this better, manga author/artist needs to speed up this arc. Not only is it one of the most boring ones in the LN, it also drags on even longer than the LN did because of the long release window.

While this drawing's style is usualy pleasant to look at, it's horrible for showing batlle scenes.

This chapter was just bad, hard to read and hard to understand what really happen...
The battle is bland and doesn't bring anything interesting...

And then they all turned into chickens. Cock-a-d000dle---dd000000000000000000000000000!!

Page 15 "...So what do we now? It's revived." You are missing one "do" should be "So what do we do now?".

The whole sentence kind of doesn't sound english. Something like "So what do we do now, that it's revived." would be better. No, it still sounds kind of wrong. I would probably drop the "It's revived." part. We can see that the monster have returned so this statement isn't necessary. This second part is probably subjective so take it or not ;p

Page 18 "While this one can protect if you if need be." this time one "if" too many. It should be "While this one can protect you if need be."

So he now can control his strenght even without the limiter?
Ok, but why was he not destroying everything when using his full power?

I think something the manga does do very well is whenever he starts having to actually try in a battle his face and smile get way more vicious and "evil" looking. Which seems to show that him holding back so often is going against what he wants to do cause it looks like he's a battle maniac. If it's not like that in the LN then that's an odd choice the manga artist made but I like it honestly

I don't like the new drawing style with the faces being way to angular. Also the way he uses his limiter ability makes even less sense than in the novel, now that we can see his surroundings and leaving (nothing) less to our imagination.

I think this is getting dragged on, but thats okay with me. As long as the story keeps going I will keep reading. I like the art style and something about this world is a little more appealing than other "isekai" or "Game isekai".
