The New Gate - Vol. 7 Ch. 47

Reading the comments for this chapter, then reread the whole thing, I just realized I missed so much details and context that was simply brushed over in the manga.. I don't even get what "death game" actually means when I read the beginning chapters in the manga. Makes me want to read the novel... but before I delve deeper, does it have WN vs LN version? Is there only one version for the translation (shintranslation)? Any difference I should know about, or it doesn't matter if there's only one translated version?

Deathgame means, it was am vrmoprg like Sword Art Online. They go ttrapped there, if they died. They die for reals. Big hint on that as far as we are atm.
Alot of the people that died got to that otherworld.
And you can tink of the game, as like a gate to there.

Shin beat the game, which shouldn't have ben beatable. And got there "alive".
Well ... as far as my speculations go. They all died when the deathgame started. And their "souls" kept playing to achieve a goal.

I would recommend the LN version. Reading it bit by bit atm.

@Shirt @GerryCerryBery Thanks, it was on my reading list on NovelUpdates and I managed to find where I left off, right now I'm reading through V9C2P2 I forgot why I stopped, but I believe it is because the novel sometimes drags off really slowly on some parts..

Rereading this again. I wonder what Lyonne's reaction to all of them will be. I think she will break for a minute or two. XD

Cmiiw. So player's and support's race are high race like High Human, High Elf, etc; while npc peasants are regular race?

Oh hey an offspring is possible! Its a great news for schnee to make her move asap!

@Vegetablesucks Plenty of players were normal races too, all the "High" player/NPCs had to reincarnate (I think it's meant to be vaguely Disgaea-like) to get there.

I've always wanted to see the "isekai MC meets other isekai'd" trope and it to be executed well ever since the first time I've thought of it. I love this.

The other players being alive is such a big deal and yet Shin has an unexpectedly weak reaction to it.
