this whole story so far as basically been teaching the MC that people are better than what he thinks they are


also he still thinks its a game so he believes that the NPCs will behave in a predictable manner though he's starting to see that something is off

Just discovered this one today. This...hits harder for me than I realized. The relationship between son and father. Eerily similar to mine, my father went out of his way to help me, but I kept not listening or showing him that yes, I hear what you are saying and thank you. I was too stuck up on saving face in front of him, not showing how much of a failure I was. I was told later on that he was really proud of me when I finally started to move forward again. And even then he still tried his best, but I was still hung up on the saving face. Now it is too late, and wish I could go back and knock sense into myself and to open up.


I know this isn't an emotional manga/novel, but it is one of the first in a long time that I had to set the phone down for a while due to having a hard time seeing anymore.
