Rereading this is such a trip. I realise that....I dont care who he went to save first. Every relationship with those two siblings are built on one sided dependency and selfishness, or lies. Maybe it will be resolved down the line, but right now she needs to get away, regardless of who he tried to save first, because its become literally life threatening being with them, as if the stalking sexual assaulter wasn't already a threat. Also asking for forgiveness doesn't mean you should get it. Especially if after you ask, you make it clear that you're doing it for yourself (dont leave me, you listen to me, i tell you everything). She only regrets what affects her.
