yeah, it's confusing.... so I'll try to guess based on these two chapters....

The raven hair lady kidnapped the MC who is the baby of the rival "good" family while she was still pregnant with her child.
The rival family on the other hand was already trying to kill off the MC because she didn't have the powers of their family.
Raven hair dies trying to protect the kidnapped child and herself.

Raven hair already had a child and was working on another when she kidnapped the MC. One seriously hard working mother.
Anyhow somebody from the evil family saved the child from dying from the good family knights and decided to tell everyone that the MC is Raven hair's child.
And since this is supposed to be an evil family, I'm guessing the knights from the evil family decided to lie to save their own lives by using the MC.
I know the narrator said "same womb" but that could also mean the "same mother", not that she was pregnant with twins.
