This is basically the trolley problem in comic form and the person pulling the lever is the emperor. It's even worse because the person you need to "sacrifice" is just a child with a strong distrust of others.

@Miyono-chan What is to say that he isn't lying? By implying that his armor is nothing grand, the perpetrator will be more likely to try the same thing but elsewhere. Therefore, if the armor actually is fully covered, when contact is made, the perpetrator will be shocked and distracted, thus open to strike.
Now on the flipside, if the armor is not fully covered, then that attack would be successful, so the optimal strategy then would be to stay silent and imply it is fully covered. However, because there are two options in which the optimal play would be to claim to be on the other option, mind games come into play. With mind games, it is just a question of how many layers the dude is on.

Anyway, I just can't wait until they figure out that Estrella would technically be a believer in the other faith, and thus completely exempt from anything the high priest even tries to do.
